“The Passion + Purpose = Profit event on Friday night was super inspiring. The panelists, who included Tiara Williams, Monique Rodriguez, Tamika Mallory, Lucinda Cross, Tashera Simmons, Bershan Shaw and Precious Avorkliyah-Evans, encouraged everyone to put themselves first and do what makes them happy.
Either you can be Passionately Poor or you can be Passionately Profitable. When you are Passionately Poor it means that you are passionate about something, and people see your hard work, but you’re not getting paid. Passionately Profitable is when you are dedicated to your passion and do whatever it takes to brand yourself, and turn that into profits.
Each and every person’s passion is organic. Your Passion is created from what you LOVE plus what you’re GREAT at. If you don’t know what your passion is, you need to get out and experiment with different things you like to do onestop plumbers. If you try something you thought you liked and it does not work, you get up and try the next thing, and then the next thing and then the next until you have found your passion.” —Recap article featured in EGL written by @Tawana Coleman, Speak Free Communications

Topic: Venue Negotiation Tips For Your Next Event
Finding a venue can be stressful and is oftentimes one of the biggest expenses in your event planning budget. Join me this afternoon for a few quick tips for negotiating according to your budget.
When we set out to achieve our goals and reach our milestones in life we can be sure on at least one thing – there will be difficult decisions that need to be addressed.
In fact, my #Activate rule of thumb states that if there are no difficult decisions on the table, then the milestone is minor and the goal is too small!
When it is time to make a decision in life we are placed in a position called POWER. We get a chance to choose what to do next and what happens next. Often our first reaction to the most difficult decisions is to “push it under the rug” but we all know that’s not productive.
The next response is often times to bully ourselves into stressful energy, but that never seems to work either. We’re much better off with the solution I call “Let It Flow.”
F- Free your mind and go into silence. Quiet the inner chatter so that the truth can speak.
L- Let go of the need to be right. Let go of the fear of being wrong, and the pride to have control. (more…)
Activate Your Vision(TM): The year is not over yet. The year is still unfolding miracles, signs and wonders. I received a full blessing and a major, major contract deal last week and it’s just a sign that there is more coming. We must do things in life expecting a specific increase to happen.
I want you to consciously use the Law of Increase. The Law of Increase gradually shifts your thinking to see more of the goodness in your life and others. The Law of Increase opens the door for you to produce miracles out of the most powerful vessel we have, “the mouth”. (more…)

Sisterhood is a reward.
The sister relationship, above all other relationships, is the greatest of all.
I believe sisterhood requires more energy than parenting and more work than a marriage.
Sisterhood is a bond often threatened and is threatening all in the same breath.
When women get married, a union is formed.
When women have a family, a nation is built.
When women step into their purpose and empire is created.
But, when women get together the world changes.
Sisterhood, in my opinion, is not something that can be defined. It is an experience that must be had.
There was a time when I might have attempted to understand the term “sister” or “sisterhood” by looking outside myself for a definition. Today, however, as I am perhaps wiser and certainly more confident, I choose to rely on my own personal experience and observation. Although I don’t have a sister by blood, I am well aware of the uniqueness of this relationship and the value it holds for me.
I had the pleasure of interviewing four ladies that I have been watching on Instagram for quite some time, and their movements are astounding. I call these four ladies “The Elements.” They each bring something valuable to the society that they live, work and serve.
Their bond doesn’t come from superficial commonalities, but a shared understanding of each other’s experience and contribution to the world. Within this understanding, any differences can be embraced.

We told our truth.
We stepped into our power.
Yes, TEN year’s of leaping, jumping, crawling, loving, liking, hating, crying, laughing, smiling, confused, used, supported, forgotten, screaming and believing in this thing called “Entrepreneurship.”
Here is a few pics of the game changers who showed up. (Video coming soon)
