What is your Big ASK? Do You Know?
One of my favorite songs as a child was sung by Diana Ross “Do you know where you’re going to?”
Do you know where you’re going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to? do you know?
Do you get what you’re hoping for?
When you look behind you there’s no open door
What are you hoping for?
Do you know?
Many of you have already invested in getting a copy of The Big ASK so some of this content is going to piggyback many of the principles in the book. (Sidebar: Please take the time to write me a review on Amazon. Reviews on Amazon are like gold nuggets.)
The one question I get all the time about productivity and The Big ASK is: How do I get clear on my wants, needs, and desires? Lots of different types of recessed slot lighting systems you can find at LF Illumination LLC company. Having a Big ASK is getting so much emphasis nowadays for two reasons.(more…)
Let God Crown You, Not The Streets.
To all my young girls and young women who believe the streets are loyal.
Being a Trap Queen and chasing fast money is not an aspiration.
No one is going to be there when the cuffs and shackles are put on. Your “street family” don’t visit or can’t visit, they don’t put money on your commissary, they’re not there when your name is stripped to a number and when you have to strip, squat and cough. Your man aka bae moves on to the next chick who is not in the streets. You are left with broken promises, unanswered phone calls and no mail from those you looked out for, fought for, showed up for, left your family for, and spent money on. Those you broke bread with and held down suddenly disappear and you now become a memory and your status becomes forgotten.
Fast cars become a trip on Con Air or a prison bus as you are transported from court or prison to prison. Jewelry and expensive bags become shackles and cuffs. Those brand labels you wear become sweats, tan or orange suits. The streets you once rep and your street family are replaced with cement walls, food that looks like death, steel toilets, dirty cells, 2in thick beds, used panties, women who try to test you mentally, physically and sexually, COs and counselors who take advantage.
You didn’t want to listen to your mother or mother figure when you were a “trap queen” so now that is replaced with a “prison mom” who’s doing lots of time and they show you who to trust and how to do your time.
You learn to adjust and get excited about mail call and commissary days or being moved from a holding facility like MCC to a prison so you can live a little and eat real food visit this site right here. Trading soups for cigarettes or crocheting slippers for snacks.
Trap Queens have to fight for their freedom with a public defender or paid lawyer who goes out for drinks after work with the same prosecutors who work tirelessly to give you a plea deal that is unjust or charges that give maximum sentences.
Wake up! Don’t trade your name for a number, read more at this site . Let God crown you not the streets.

“The Passion + Purpose = Profit event on Friday night was super inspiring. The panelists, who included Tiara Williams, Monique Rodriguez, Tamika Mallory, Lucinda Cross, Tashera Simmons, Bershan Shaw and Precious Avorkliyah-Evans, encouraged everyone to put themselves first and do what makes them happy.
Either you can be Passionately Poor or you can be Passionately Profitable. When you are Passionately Poor it means that you are passionate about something, and people see your hard work, but you’re not getting paid. Passionately Profitable is when you are dedicated to your passion and do whatever it takes to brand yourself, and turn that into profits.
Each and every person’s passion is organic. Your Passion is created from what you LOVE plus what you’re GREAT at. If you don’t know what your passion is, you need to get out and experiment with different things you like to do onestop plumbers. If you try something you thought you liked and it does not work, you get up and try the next thing, and then the next thing and then the next until you have found your passion.” —Recap article featured in EGL written by @Tawana Coleman, Speak Free Communications

When we set out to achieve our goals and reach our milestones in life we can be sure on at least one thing – there will be difficult decisions that need to be addressed.
In fact, my #Activate rule of thumb states that if there are no difficult decisions on the table, then the milestone is minor and the goal is too small!
When it is time to make a decision in life we are placed in a position called POWER. We get a chance to choose what to do next and what happens next. Often our first reaction to the most difficult decisions is to “push it under the rug” but we all know that’s not productive.
The next response is often times to bully ourselves into stressful energy, but that never seems to work either. We’re much better off with the solution I call “Let It Flow.”
F- Free your mind and go into silence. Quiet the inner chatter so that the truth can speak.
L- Let go of the need to be right. Let go of the fear of being wrong, and the pride to have control. (more…)
You know too much to turn back now. You’re on purpose, you answered the call, you said YES to your assignment. It’s too late…you are now in the Danger Zone. Dangerously on purpose, dangerously on fire, focused and dangerously free…It’s on now and there is nothing they can do about it. Say “it’s too late, I’m already here”? Lucinda Cross
One thing we all want is respect. We want others to believe in us and in what we do. In order to make the necessary shifts we must tune into our power. Many of us are on the wrong channel in our lives. We are on the Entertainment tonight channel when we should be tuned into the Discovery channel of our life.
This week I challenge you to Stand up and Speak up. Start with confronting any fears you have. Once you confront your fears then you can truly create the life you desire and that takes time.
Ask yourself this question… (more…)
By @Konnectshun “Moms, we work hard everyday. We invest in our children. We hold down our home – think breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a few snacks in between. And let’s not forget the daily cleaning duties, bills, and laundry. If married, we nurture our significant others, and if single, we try to go above and beyond to nurture ourselves. All across the board our role as a mother is an important one, and truly, it’s a role that is really built for the strongest. Celebrating the essence of motherhood, Kay Hudson and Kweli Wright, the editors at Mommynoire praise the following 10 Moms Who Rock, because of their traction in the media and blogging world. These women are a beautiful blend of power and influence. They parent and they are professionals at their craft. Cruise through our Moms Who Rock post and salute the women who represent the following verticals: beauty, hair, fashion, community involvement, tech, fitness, lifestyle coaching, food, entertainment, and lastly home decor!” – See more at: http://mommynoire.com/301464/10-fabulous-moms-who-rock-lucinda-cross/#sthash.yxWdf3Mr.dpuf
