We often see success and never really see what goes on behind the scenes. There is a thin line that separates the change makers and the complainers. It’s called Perseverance.

According to the Webster dictionary perseverance is the steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. Perseverance separates those who succeed from those who want success but don’t want to put the work in to achieve it.  These two videos exemplify with all the money in the world you still have to show up, prepare, push through, and practice, in order to have a knock out performance on the stage called Life.

Three lessons I want to share with you from these videos:

1. The love is in the details.  (take your time and do it right)

2. Educate yourself on your gifts and talents and everything in between (just because your gifted doesn’t mean you stop learning about perfecting your gift. Listen how she can break down the musical beats, the lighting and the stage…to the experts.)

3. Practice, practice and practice

Would love to read your comment on how you persevered and succeeded.

Happy New Year!!!

2013 proved to be a year of setfbacks and comebacks for me. In January, my first self-published book with a publisher fell through. I was angry about the money pumped into the project just to hear ” I’m sorry”. Then I learned that my thesis was rejected by my advisor, hindering my graduation. So around May or so, I fasted and I prayed. God directed me and I PERSERVERED!!! I am releasing the complete children’s series picture book January 2014, and I graduated a few weeks ago. GOD can andI He will. The question is canthe you and and I prayed.
