This past week, you saw Chief Activator, Best Selling Author, Speaker and Spokesperson Mrs. Lucinda Cross on the Today Show with Tamron Hall discussing Vision Boards and how essential they are in making your dreams become a reality. However, before you go get magazines, a board, markers, glue, and friends…. You must first know your vision, your purpose, and your journey.
Merriam – Wesbter defines the word vision as, “a clear idea about what should happen or be done in the future”. So having a clear idea of where you want to be and why it is important is paramount when it comes to aligning your life to watch your seeds grow. We all have envisioned ourselves as millionaires, celebrities, Broadway stars, and/or winning a Grammy, but can we, honestly, say that we have fully thought out and analyzed the sacrifices that will have to take place before we can appreciate and accomplish these goals. Vision boards are the start of your visionary journey to help guide you to what you deemed necessary achieve this year, within five years, or within a lifetime. One thing Tamron Hall pointed out on Lucinda’s vision board on the Today’s Show is that “NBC” was on posted. Lucinda did not know that she would eventually be a guest, but she envisioned the dream, aligned herself with her direction, understood her purpose and activated her life to make her board come true.
In the latest blog, “Your “Vision Board” is not an Ouija Board”, she discusses how “Vision Boards are not created to give you answers, they are created to give you the permission and confidence to understand that YOU ARE THE ANSWER..” Your Board will not come alive, unless you do!! So before you attend that vision board party, really think about your goals, your passion, and what all you need to do to achieve them. Once your vision is clear…. Activate all engines and enjoy the journey to the finish line.
